Resident Evil 2 - That Game Rules! Ep 022

“Where’s my zombies and all my dogs? Throw them hands up and show some love, and I welcome you to Racoon City, I said welcome to Racoon City.” Stock up your ammo and ink ribbons and run, walk, or limp though this episode as we dissect the horror masterpiece Resident Evil 2. This game gives me all the feelings and was hard to cram into an hour episode, so I didn’t - I just keep talking, but we manage to show this game some love. Enjoy the zombie filled episode, Happy Halloween! 
 
We take a trip in time back to 1998. The console wars had evolved as the Sony Playstation and Nintendo 64 battled for our attention. Digital toys were hitting the market and CG shows and movies were hitting the screens. And we talk lots more zombies!

Castlevania - That Game Rules! Ep 020

This week’s episode is on the amazing NES classis Castlevania. A legacy game that spawned sequels across generations, comics and lore, a Netflix series, and a story that continues to this day. This game spawned its own genre of video games, and it all began with a vampire hunter named Simon Belmont. Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - That Game Rules! Ep 019

This game took a chance with a new character and story placed within the Star Wars universe we know and love. Let’s dive into Dash Rendar’s story and talk about bounty hunters, wonky N64 controls, wampas, and some of the best music in Star Wars gaming. Punch it, Chewie!

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter - That Game Rules! Ep 016

An episode 65 million years in the making, and no we’re not talking about Jurassic Park. Well, I talk a little Jurassic Park. I freakin’ love Jurassic Park...Anyways. Today's episode is on Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the N64. A perfect way to showcase the 3D capabilities of the brand-new, shiny Nintendo 64. OK it was more matte grey than shiny, but you get it. This game mixes the prehistoric with futuristic, dinosaurs with aliens, and an array of weapons to vaporize them all. Let's get primeval and grab your Tek Arrows because we’ve got T-rexes with frickin’ lazer beams on their heads to take care of! DINOSAURS! 
 
We also stop by 1997 and talk about a whole bunch of dumb stuff. Did you ever get your membership status at the BK Kids Club? What’s your opinion of Turok versus some other 1997 games like Doom and Quake? And I talk about the Lost World, Jurassic Park. DINOSAURS!

Aladdin - That Game Rules! Ep 015

Nintendo. Disney. Capcom. When these 3 get together, it’s usually a pretty good time. Today, we’re taking a magical carpet ride to the 90s and talking about Aladdin for the SNES. I played this game a ton back in the day. We’re gonna break down the game, talk about this Disney classic across multiple systems, and just show Robin Williams some love.
